Called Council Meeting

The meeting was called to order by Mayor Tipton at 7:45pm who explained the purpose of the meeting was to consider the approval of the FY 2006/2007 budget.

Councilman Myrick made a motion to approve the budget resolution adopting the FY 2006/2007 budget with the changes as discussed in the November 7, 2006 workshop and included on the attached budget with the understanding that council would work diligently toward adopting a balanced budget for FY 2007/2008 without depending on funds on hand.  Councilman Ray seconded the motion and it passed with six affirmative votes.

Being no further discussion on the budget, Councilman Waller made a motion to adjourn at 7:46pm, Councilman Ray seconded the motion and it passed with six affirmative votes.

Mayor Tipton and all councilmembers were present at the meeting.
