CALLED COUNCIL MEETING

June 2, 2003

6:30pm

 

 

The meeting was called to order by Mayor Rozier with Councilman Waller leading in prayer.

 

Mayor Rozier stated that the purpose of the meeting is to interview applicants for the Police Chief’s position with the Bloomingdale Police Department.

 

Since this is a personnel matter, Councilman Waller made a motion to adjourn into executive session.  Councilman Ray seconded the motion and it passed with five affirmative votes.

 

A copy of the affidavit required by the Open Meeting Law is attached.

 

After completion of the interviews, Councilman Ray made a motion to adjourn the executive session and return to the general meeting, Councilman Johnson seconded the motion and it passed with five affirmative votes.

 

Mayor Rozier stated that two interviews will be held on Monday, June 9, 2003 starting at 6:30pm.

 

Being no further business, Councilman Ray made a motion to adjourn.  Councilman Wedincamp seconded the motion and it passed with five affirmative votes.

 

The meeting adjourned at 9:30pm.

                                                                          

 

Mayor Rozier and council members Johnson, Myrick, Ray, Waller and Wedincamp attended the meeting.
