POLICE DEPARTMENT:
The City of Bloomingdale is accepting applicants for the position of Police Officer. Starting salary is $37,879.92 with an excellent benefit package. Applications can be obtained at the Police Department at 6 Adams Road, Bloomingdale, GA M-F 8:00am - 5:00pm. Position open until filled. The City of Bloomingdale is an equal opportunity employer.
Minimum Requirements:
21 years of age or older; High School Diploma or equivalent; U.S. Citizen; Valid Georgia Driver's License; Georgia POST Certification; Able to pass criminal background check, medical, psychological and polygraph examination.
PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT:
The City of Bloomingdale is accepting applications for two (2) Full-time Laborers in the Public Works Department. Applicants must possess a Valid Driver’s license with a clean driving record and be at least 18 years of age. Starting rate of pay is $10.84 and the successful applicant will work 40 hours per week.
Applications may be picked up from City Hall at #8 W. Hwy 80, Bloomingdale, Ga. Monday – Friday from 8:30am - 5:30pm or at the Public Works Department at #5 Adams Road, Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm.
